ABOUT ME

My name is Jordan Glanzer, and I grew up in the little town of Howard, South Dakota. Ever since I was little, I have had a passion for art. Nothing makes me happier than creating something that makes other people smile or creating something that is different. I was never sure what I really wanted to do with my future. But that changed when I was given the chance to see what a graphic designer does and what they are able to create with the touch of a computer screen and a keyboard. After that day I knew what I wanted to do and that was to create unique designs that brought meaning to people.

I was never sure if any of my designs were good enough, but my parents would support me in everything that I made. It gives me the confidence to continue what I do and try my best to make the greatest work that I can. My parents are my inspiration to do my best every day and to give it all I got even if I don’t succeed. I will always remember my parents as hard working and always giving me confidence especially when I need it most.

Once I graduated high school in 2018 my path then took a turn and led me to a small school in Mitchell, South Dakota; Dakota Wesleyan University (DWU). It is also the school where I continued to play my love for golf. During my time at DWU, I have been blessed with a remarkable education, real-world experiences that challenged me, and being allowed to make incredible relationships there. The classes consisted of learning most Adobe software like InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver. Four years later, I graduated DWU with a Digital Media and Design degree with a triple emphasis in marketing, graphic design, and web design.
